Include | St Matthews were delighted to welcome Theatre Express for a fantastic performance of Robin Hood. The touring pantomime company brought the classic tale to life with an energetic, engaging, and entertaining show that had our learners laughing, cheering, and joining in from start to finish.
A Memorable Shared Experience
There is something truly special about coming together to enjoy a moment as a whole school. From the very first scene, our learners were swept up in the story, and it was wonderful to see them share in the laughter and excitement together.
The performance encouraged plenty of audience participation, and our young people embraced every opportunity to get involved. Whether they were booing the villain, cheering on the hero, or shouting out at just the right moment, everyone found their own way to be part of the fun.
Excitement, Laughter and Smiles
The atmosphere throughout the show was filled with excitement, laughter, and smiles, creating a truly special event for everyone involved. Experiences like this matter. They build confidence, strengthen friendships, and create the kind of happy, shared memories that stay with our learners long after the curtain falls.
The feedback from our learners was overwhelmingly positive, with many describing the performance as one of their favourite experiences of the term.
Already Looking Ahead
The visit was such a success that we have already booked Theatre Express to return on 16th July 2026 with an exciting production of Alice in Wonderland. We know our learners will be counting down the days.
A big thank you to Theatre Express for a wonderful afternoon, and to our learners for bringing such fantastic energy to the show.
